Join Chernobyl Exclusion Zone

In the early morning hours of Saturday 26 April 1986 Reactor number 4 of the V. I. Lenin nuclear Power Plant just north of Pripyat Ukraine exploded contaminating thousands of kilometers of land and water. What followed was a herculean effort of thousands of liquidators from across the Soviet Union to clean and contain the leaking radioactive materials emanating from the ruins of the reactor. Team Chernobyl exclusion Zone looks to recreate Chernobyl as it stands today in as much pain staking and accurate detail as possible within the confines of Minecraft. We dedicate our work to the men and women who gave their lives protecting the people not only of the Soviet union but of the world.
